6:40 am Sunday: Sunrise and Moonset

Didn't have that great a night. Sleeping on a train is a skill I hope to improve on this week. I woke up just after dawn to an amazing view of a crescent moon setting next to Mt. Shasta. Truly spectacular.

I couldn't get a good photo, so I just gave up and tried looking harder to remember.

It looks like we made up a little time in the night and we are maybe only 30 minutes late.Les mer
