11:30 am Saturday: Following the Truckee

We have picked up the Truckee River and we will follow this for quite a ways. At this end of the river it is pretty tiny, more like a large creek.

Occasionally we can see snow capped mountains in the far distance. I'm pretty sure those are the Sierra Nevadas.

We keep crossing over and back across the river so I keep switching back and forth across observation car so I can always be looking out at the river.Lue lisää
