Afternoon in Ontario

I had a nice lunch (forgot the photo again!) with three new people: an older couple from Utah and a younger man (under 50) who is a Catholic priest from Delaware. All three are traveling in the Prestige class which comes with much nicer rooms amenities and slightly better food and free alcohol, but the price for is about 5x what I paid (and I was already paying a lot more than the people in the berths). They were fun to chat with. The priest, in particular was a big train fan and we swapped stories about our favorite Amtrak routes and tips.Read more
