Crossing the Mississippi

The first afternoon took us through rural Illinois and across the Mississippi. We explored the train a bit and checked out the view from the rear and soon it was time for dinner.

After the sun set in Iowa, we all went to bed fairly early. It has been a long 2 days. Unfortunately, the train was trying to make up for lost time, so the night was quite rough and it was hard for any of us to sleep well.En savoir plus
