Day 40 Katherine

Early start and headed to Katherine Gorge. Did the 4 Km trek. A massive colony of flying foxes have made their hone in the trees just outside the park reception centre. Noisy critters. The walk was good and not too mountain goaty. Left the Gorge and drive straight to the Katherine hot springs. Spent an hour wallowing in the warm water. It was very refreshing. Had a lazy afternoon but caught up with an army mate Blacky this evening. He is heading north to Darwin and we were both staying in Katherine the same night. Been a few years between beers.

Heading south towards Alice Springs tomorrow. Will stop about half way down for the night, maybe Banka Banka or Jenner SpringsLæs mere
