Day 5 Nile Cruise

After exploring the Valley of the Kings, we headed to our cruise. The boats were all lined up side by side, so you’d actually walk through one to reach the next. Cruising up the Nile felt like a procession of riverboats—maybe 30 in total—moving together. Small craft come out from shore selling stuff like scarves and table cloths and throw them up to the boat a the money get thrown down. In the evening, docking was a choreographed dance, with boats lining up alongside each other, sometimes seven or eight deep. It was an impressive sight, watching them settle in so neatly.Leer más
