There’s no show like a Day Airshow

Well! A bit of a change from last nights show when we were all freezing. Today we were absolutely sweltering 🙄.

You definitely needed the weekend pass, there was so much to do and see.

The kids were excited to check out the Army tent. When we got there they had the robo dog out on display. He was walking around getting pats and licking people 🤣, the kids gave him a pat. Then they got to fly a virtual helicopter, which was extremely hard, but fun.

We checked out all the different defense planes, and the kids collected a great momento, a pin of each of the Australian Air-force Aircraft’s that were on display. It was a great way to keep them engaged and moving in the heat!

A lot of walking around and not as much sitting today, but I don’t know what was worse, walking in the heat or sitting in the sun!

We were lucky today, we got to move around and for the fast jets we got right up next to the runway, front row seats. Lachie was stocked. It was loud!

We got out of the car park quicker today, as we left before the show was over, we thought we were on a roll then we turned out onto the road and saw the traffic! Oh no! The cars were stopped 😬☹️ and they had shut the road we needed to go down and diverted the traffic, our 15 min drive took 2 hours ☹️. Brett was not impressed.
