Standley Chasm

Standley Chasm is in the West MacDonnell Ranges, last year we didn’t make it out here, so we thought we would go for a drive and check out some of the sites this year.

The kids were not to keen on going for a drive as we have been doing a lot of driving the last few days, since we left Cactus. So we just picked the two closest gorges and went and checked them out. The kids agreed to this, it made them even happier when they found out the walks were extremely short 🤣.

We got to Stanley Chasm at midday so the sun was shining into the chasm and lighting it up, it was beautiful, but we are not sure it was worth the $30 entry fee.Read more
