Day 13: continued

Day 13 was a long day, we left camp at 8am and we got to Nolan’s at 3.45pm. Barley 20kms from last nights camp.

Our aim was the ferry, we realised quickly we were not going to make it today.

Not a bad place to spend the night. The kids had a ball swimming, rope swinging and tree jumping until the sun set. It was our last night together, so there was a few celebratory drinks had around the fire.

When we woke in the morning, we were afraid we celebrated to soon as the car would not go into gear! Brett put it in 4WD and we were determined to make the ferry before needing the tow truck. Brett was trying his best not to stop, but a wrong turn put an end to that idea. Luckily for us, after a few choice swear words the clutch started working again.
