Day 19: Alau Beach Camp to Jardine River Ferry

The day started off nicely, Ben had caught a shark last night and the boys filleted it up this morning.

We got coffees and frappes and headed to Mutee Beach. We had planned on staying, but it was quite windy. We explored the headland and headed out to the Jardine River for lunch and a game of bowls.

As we headed back out towards the ferry, the car started to sound funny. The exhaust pipe had snapped off the engine. Luckily Ben was there to tow us to the ferry and camp ground.

Brett and Ben scavenged through the local tip to find parts to fix the car. Not what they wanted to spend the evening doing 🙁. They did a great job patching up the car so it was drivable.
