Yeppoon

The free camp at Rockhampton was hot! So we quickly unhitched and headed to Yeppoon.

Thankfully, there was a lovely sea side breeze to cool us down.

We finally got to visit Shell World. I thought I would have shell envy, but after pointing out all the shells in the cabinets that I have found I was feeling pretty good. I did get some good display ideas, Brett is going to be a busy boy when he gets home.

Then finally a skate park for the kids. I don’t know how the kids keep wanting to skate in this heat, luckily there was an infinity pool to cool off in.

After a nap by the pool we woke up to dark skies. On the way home we got a storm and then a double rainbow.Read more
