Snap! There goes the knee

I severely bucked my knee at soccer, then 8 weeks later I was back surfing and my knee let go again with a very loud cracking sound 😳
I got the scans and it’s not the news I was hoping for. The list of damage is long and the doctor was very surprised I managed to hobble in without crutches. Snapped ACL completely, complex tears of the MCL, damaged almost every other ligament and meniscus and have fractured my Tibia.
Booked in to see the surgeon in May which seems like an eternity away. I’m disappointed about not being able to surf, ski, or motorbike ride for ages with the wait for the specialist and the lengthy recovery, but I’m just concentrating on what I can do which isn’t very exciting but it’s better than being completely laid up.もっと詳しく
