V8 Drive

Had the opportunity through work to do a V8 drive at Eastern Creek. I was so excited to be back in a V8, I just love everything about them. I had a young guy as my instructor which I thought would be good but I think he wanted to drive cause he kept pressing the brakes making it very hard to get a feel for the car and even harder to get any rhythm. At one point I stopped braking for and said to him there’s no point both of us braking, which got him to back off braking a little bit. All in all it was very enjoyable and my favourite corner is turn one, it is a high speed corner where you approach at over 200kph and only lift the throttle, turn it in late and back on the gas. You can feel the car body creeking under all the different forces, it is incredible.En savoir plus
