• Island in the salt flats

    We visited the Isla Incahuasi, a large rock outcrop with giant cacti, and fossils of coral and algae that are left over from when the Salar de Uyuni was once a massive salt lake 40,000 years ago.
    On our way to our accommodation for the night we stopped on the salt plains to have a glass of Bolivian red wine, offering the first bit to Pacha Mama, while we watched the sun set.En savoir plus
