    Day 1 Denarau

    Brisbane to Fiji.....Virgin business class all the way baby!
    After a mimosa mishap all over my white jeans, I was changed and ready to celebrate in style. With our comfy flight done and dusted, we caught a taxi to Denarau Island to the glorious Wyndham Resort for an overnight stay in a 2 bedroom garden apartment.

    We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the Land Ends restaurant, which featured a traditional all-you-can-eat Fijian buffet. The meal was complemented by a spectacular fire show and a performance by the lovely staff, who were dressed in traditional Fijian clothes. They sang, danced, and shared stories of their family history, making it a truly memorable evening.Read more

    Day 2. Trip to Mana Island

    After a delicious breakfast at Mamacita's, we said goodbye to the Wyndham Resort and boarded a coach to Denarau Port. From there, we embarked on the South Sea Cruises boat to Mana Island. It was a bumpy ride, with swells up to two meters, and our first stop was Molo Island—a small but beautiful spot where the wind blew fiercely. Finally, we arrived at Mana Island. We were greeted in traditional Fijian style by locals playing guitars, singing, and waving, all while yelling "Bula!" as we walked down the jetty, taking in the crystal-blue water, sunshine, and tropical views. This island paradise would be our home for the next eight days!Read more

    Exploring Mana Island

    With a few hours to kill until our bure was ready, we set out to find food and cocktails. The wind was picking up, but the sun was still bright as we enjoyed our first cocktails with burgers and chips. After a few hours of exploring and relaxing, we finally got the keys to our honeymoon bure—number 007! Once our buggy was delivered, we settled in for an afternoon rest whilst taking in the breathtaking views, sipping coconut tequila's before our all-you-can-eat Mongolian dinner buffet.Read more

    Day 3. Lovers honeymoon in Fiji

    August 6, 2025 in Fiji ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

    Day 3.
    Buffett breakfast followed by an exploratory trek over rocks on the south side of the island to more secluded areas where we found some amazing crabs, shells and coral pieces. After working up a sweat scrambling over rocks, we needed a quick feed and a cocktail before donning the swimmers and snorkeling gear and hitting the South Beach in search of some incredible coral, the most amazing array of coloured fish, sea snails and a sting ray.
    A few cocktails on the beach before our afternoon nap and hitting the Nosa Teppanyaki Restaurant for great entertainment and a delicious Japanese feast!!!    Read more

    Day 4

    Buffett breakfast before I hit the Mana Spa Retreat for an incredible 2 hour hot stone massage! Wow what a relaxing experience!
    Dyl was killing time exploring the island and getting some beautiful footage with the drone. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at South Beach Restaurant followed by a buggy drive out to explore the sets and areas from the Survivor TV series.
    Easy to see why they book this island out for 6 months of the year with the incredible island and beach views!
    We found a private secluded beach to swim in and enjoy whilst taking in the serenity and beautiful ocean beach views surrounding us.
    With the tide coming in, we headed back to the Adults pool for a drink, swim and sunbake to finish off our afternoon before heading to the Indian buffet dinner.    Read more

    Day 4....Continued

    With incredible views of the island and beach, it's easy to see why this spot is fully booked six months out of the year. We found a private, secluded beach and spent some time swimming and enjoying the serenity of the beautiful ocean views. As the tide started to come in, we made our way back to the adults-only pool. We rounded out the afternoon with a drink, a swim, and a little sunbathing before getting ready for the Indian buffet dinner.Read more

    We awoke early on day 5 our Mana Island honeymoon paradise. After a delicious omelette and some fruit, we collected our snorkel gear and headed out to Supermarket Reef to snorkel with the sharks. After a short 10-minute boat ride, we were in the water watching the sharks swim and feed below us. It was a little cold for me after about 35 minutes, but the experience was unforgettable.Read more

    Day 6 Honeymoon Adventures ❤️

    Our Saturday started with a delicious breakfast, followed by a quick exploration of the island where we stumbled upon the cutest little wedding chapel with gorgeous beachside views 💒❣️❤️🥰
    We saw wedding plates with names and dates displayed to the side of the chapel. We then went snorkeling, filming more coral as we searched for sea turtles. We were lucky enough to spot three, along with so many other beautiful underwater creatures! We capped off the day with more sunset photos before heading to another tasty buffet dinner and a few drinks.    Read more

    Day 7.

    Our Fijian honeymoon has been absolutely incredible!
    Our days have been spent soaking up the sun, snorkeling the reefs, visiting several different beaches, and spotting a wide variety of tropical fish. We’ve been on walks, kayaked, taken boat trips, and found different coloured crabs—all between enjoying lots of delicious food and cocktails.
