• Bow Lake and Icefield Parkway (again)

    An early wake-up had us back on the road before sunrise hoping to catch some wildlife. However again we saw nothing. While we should be happy having seen the 2 small black bears, we still held our breath for something else.

    If nothing else, it was a stunning sunny day to cruise back down the Icefield Parkway. We spent the morning walking around Bow Lake and admiring the perfect reflection of the mountains on the still water.

    After accidentally walking most of the way out to Bow Glacier Falls, with Jessie in socks and slides, we made our way back to the Van and drove back to Lake Louise village. A quick resupply of groceries set us up to head for Yoho National Park for our next adventure.
