First evening in Venice

First evening in Venice. We strolled through our local area of Dorsoduro, which is actually my favourite neighbourhood in Venice. The evening sky was lovely on the Accademia bridge. We had dinner in the tiny 'Corner Pub' and to our surprise the waiter did not speak a word of English. We had left thinking there were no tables available, but with our broken Italian we were able to understand what he meant, as he came running after us, to motion they had tables in the back.
