Today we headed to The Sap House at Stone House Farm in Sharon Springs for breakfast. It is a big maple farm where they tap their trees and make their own maple syrup. It takes 40 litres of sap to make 1 litre of maple syrup.
From February each year for 12 weeks they open their farm up for people to come and enjoy all you can eat waffles, pancakes and maple sausages with their own maple syrup, maple butter, maple cream and maple sugar as condiments.
