    Walking the coastal path

    15 juni 2017, Frankrijk ⋅ 🌧 16 °C

Today we set our sight's on Ploumanac'h an hour & half from Riscoff in the Cote d'armor region of France. This area is known as the pink granite coast and so we planned to walk part of the Sentier des Douaniers (coastal path) to explore the red granite bolders which have been sculpted by the sea.

On arrival it was drizzling and the clouds look ominous. We decided to walk anyway and started out towards the town of Trestraou. By the time we had arrived the cloud was clearing and so we had our sandwiches on the beach.

Having eaten and with the sun out we set off back the way we came. Eventually arriving at the pretty little village of Ploumanac'h, passing it's light house and marvelling at the red granite sculptors along the way.
