    Having walked from Llandrindod Wells a number of times we new of the lake and the tea shop which looks over it. So we headed for the tea shop and enjoyed a pot of tea (made with Welsh water) on the balcony.

    Llandrindod Wells is famous for the toads which cross the road from the forest to their breeding grounds in the lake around March time. Toads don't hop and so this is very hazardous journey.
