eve canoe ride

Got the canoe in the water in the eve after dinner. Saw a beaver who splashed its tail before it dove. Loons maybe 2 or 3 pairs. Families of young ducks...one had probably 12 chicks she was corralling. saw the merganser family. Those chicks were quite far along. The dog took a while to settle. Kept going from side to side ....
