short Calgary road trip hwy 3

as usual left a day later than we should have. Had to finish off some gardening first....weeding was needed so we could find the beets and carrots.....

after we left hope, just before the hope side traffic came to a halt after one of the long slow climbs up the hill.... 2 helicopters were dumping water on a fire at the side of the road. We think it was a vehicle fire. Thankfully they got it out pretty quickly and we were able to continue our journey.

First night Manning park, Coldsprings campground. The trees are getting bigger from a few years back when they and to cut down so many due to the beetle kill of the lodgepole pine. It was a coolish night, but pleasant.Baca lagi
