Haast Pass to Wanaka

Today we made our way through the scenic Haast Pass. We had way more luck with blue water today, with most of the drive along a beautiful blue body of water - the Haast River, Makarora River, Lake Wanaka or Lake Hawea. We stopped to stretch our legs on a short walk to Blue Pools which included 2 swing bridges. The water was beautiful and very cold, with pretty rocks lining the beach. The road the rest of the way to Wanaka was beautiful and Wanaka itself is a very cute lake town with delicious food and gorgeous views over the lake.もっと詳しく
