Mirador del Castillo

Fabulous viewing platform overlooking Burgos

As its name says, from this viewpoint it is possible to see the the architecture of the Castle of Burgos, built in the year 884 by Count Diego Porcelos, this place functioned as a great castle, a prison which held many kings and infants of that time, amongst others, and also as a gunpowder factory.

From the Mirador del Castillo it is possible to observe many historical sites and also the Cathedral of Burgos
