Bergen - Day ii

Well that’s a good start The Kode, which consists of Lysverket, Rasmus Meyer, Permanenten and Stenersen Art Museums, amongst other establishments are all closed today.

What to do…well, after a wander round the backstreets of old Bergen, and we’ve never seen so many hairdressers, we meandered our way to the Fløibanen Funicular. Much has changed from the creaky thing of our yesteryear, all very sleek and silent now, sadly!

At the top you really do see the full extent of Bergen, comparable in size to Newcastle which is quite startling, however growing quickly bored with the Genuine Norwegian Souvenirs, Lainey went for a walk and I retired to the rather grand Fløirestauranten for a Hansa!
