Lourenzá

The first very long part of today's hike with 27km. However, since the amount of pilgrims significantly increased since Ribadeo and since the sign posts now tell you on each junction how many km to go to Santiago, it somehow did not feel that long.

I was totally in my flow, listening to an inspiring Podcast, then walking for a while with a Moldavian girl (who was super scared in the forest), then taking a snack with her and some other pilgrims and later walking with a guy from Germany.

The landscape of course changed a bit. Everyone was describing this section as very mountainous but somehow I did not feel it. I just enjoyed the few ups and downs with the "Heidi"-like sceneries and the forests inbetween providing some shadow.Read more
