Today - Parliament House, originally known as the bird cage. Kid you not. The original parliament was a collection of different buildings of various styles and said to resemble bird cages. We had a free guided tour of the building which was excellent. We had a very enthusiastic guide. She was interesting and had an excellent sense of humour. We certainly learnt a lo more by having the guide than we would have had we gone round by ourselves. After the tour we were in time to attend Q and A time in the House of Representatives - enjoyable way to round off our Parliament experience.Leia mais
