A Down Day

Following relatively heavy rain last night showers continued into the morning so we took advantage of the less than promising conditions outside to have a bit of a sleep in, a slow breakfast and a restful morning. We ventured out as the morning showers lifted towards mid-day, had a light lunch and continued our meanderings of the French Quarter along some of the side streets we had yet to explore. It still fairly wet underfoot.
We returned home to catch up on some domestic duties, ie. washing, before we head off again in two days time.Okumaya devam et
