Haight-Ashbury and a Birthday Tribute

On our return to the city we were finished for the day and making our way to the bus stop when we heard a band playing and went off to investigate. It was a Monday today and there had been massive crowds around and we finally found out why. Today was a public holiday to mark Martin Luther King’s Birthday. The band was playing in a park outside the San Francisco Memorial to The man himself and we arrived in time to hear a great rendition of ‘Happy Birthday To You’. Great way to finish the day.Read more
