Jet lag woke us up early so we went to Hie Shrine. Then we went back to Shibuya and shopped at Mega Don Quijote and a Disney store. We also went to Shibuya Sky, Kendi loved the plant store en route to it. We got delicious ramen in little cute cubicles!! Then we checked out SG club (recommended by Kerri) and got some interesting cocktails. One of ours was the Parmigiana Sour - a pisco sour topped with Parmigiano Reggiano - it tasted exactly like you’d expect… but while there we met a cool couple Justin and Danny. Then Shinjuku Park where we met three old Japanese women who loved us, took pictures with us, and gave us sweet potato chips and gum. We finished the night in Golden Gai, a small neighborhood of alleyways with over 200 tiny bars that fit 5-8 people. We’re obsessed. We went to a few and chatted with everyone there (lovely Japanese bartender, Israeli tour guide, couple from Tokyo, Mexican siblings, older English couple) and Justin and Danny joined us and took us to a balloon bar where we sang karaoke (what’s up by four non blondes) and two other places where we drank and ate.
