A short two hour drive up from Broome strong headwind for the 1st 3rd of the drive. The Lombadina caravan park is owned and run by the aboriginal community here there are quite a number of aboriginal communities around Cape Leveque. We’re able to have fires here so it’s back to some nice lamb chops on the grill beautiful.
Day two was a cultural tour with Brian Lee, it was a very comprehensive seven hour relaxed tour looking over the Kooljaman community. We saw the old desert luxury camp ground beautiful Hunter Creek. We went in Michael‘s Isuzu and got bogged, had to use both the winch and the recovery tracks to get out.
Day three was a trip up to Cygnet Bay Pearl farm where we did a tour of the Pearl farm quite interesting. Another beautiful spot had lunch at the restaurant there some lovely fish and chips and then back for a relaxing afternoon at Lombadina
