• Twelfth Sea Day

    January 12, 2024, North Pacific Ocean ⋅ 🌬 18 °C

We began the day with Bible Study. The women met in Torshavn and the men met in the private dining room outside of the Chef's Table restaurant.
Bob and I met back in the stateroom. I worked and Bob caught up on lecture.
After I finished the current financial project and got it emailed, we went to the World Cafe for lunch. We have noticed that the World Cafe is so much busier now that everyone onboard ship is doing the World Cruise. Since so many are eating in the World Cafe, we decided to meet Dale and Jenni in the restaurant. We are hoping for quicker service this time.
After lunch, I went to the puzzle table since my work project was completed. Bob went back to the stateroom and caught up on remaining lectures.
Unfortunately, the seas have calmed tremendously. The Captain explained that he headed an extra 800 miles south because there was a large low pressure system which was causing rough seas so he headed for calmer waters. We are currently sailing at 17 knots and have a 1 knot current helping us along.
I am attaching a photo of the ship tracker because the tracker in this apt is not doing well in the middle of the Pacific.
