Though it was an outbound training program organized by the Company but nevertheless, the place was nice, scenic and full of lush greenery. We participated in many activities throughout the day as groups. Apart from the regular team building activities which are independent of location, at NAF we trekked a little and got to cross a river (sort of? It was more like a canal) over a cable. I roamed around in the fields (sort of again?) Soaking in the views and enjoying fresh air away from city all day stealing time from scheduled activities. We had lunch there, the food was good. We went back 3ish to our hostel. As we still had some time at hand, a bunch of us quickly got changed and went to Sri Padmanabhswami Temple in Trivandrum which is said to be full of mystery vaults and is believed to be the richest temple of the world. The statue of Sri Vishnu is in reclining position and is huge. It can be seen through 3 different doors (each gives a view of face, midsection and feet) though I didn't understand the logic of doing that because the statue would have looked so grand if it was visible all in one go. It doesn't have any other marvelous feature to see if one is not going for religious reasons.Read more
