Bob, We were in Burgos and Leon. In Leon we went to the university there. A beautiful historic building and the students were taking pictures of their graduation . Timing is everything to the experience we enjoy during travel. [Joan]
RejsendeI remember Leon on my 2012 Camino, I wish I could go back and visit it again. I tourd the Cathedral but moved on the next day. I have taken many more rest days this time at the cool city’s!
RejsendeI’m glad you got to see this, I was going to park myself during Holy Week but it just didn’t work out with where I was at. I’m walking a very long day tomorrow into a rathe nice city where I will have a rest day, then it’s the last 100km to Santiago. (Spanish, Latin country’s seen to celebrate Thursday/Friday of Holy Week more (big parades) that Easter Sunday. It’s more laid back and relaxed.
