Check point Charlie

Today we visited the last divided city in the world Nicosia (Lefkosia). A Venetian wall separates the Cypriot side of the city from the Turkish occupied side. We had to show our passports to leave the Cypriot side, walk around 20m in the UN no-man’s land and then use our passports to enter the Turkish side. The Turkish side was full of knock off Louis Vuitton and Prada. We had a quick look at some Turkish architecture but when in Turkey, the most important thing to do is try the Pide!!Weiterlesen
