Amazing first dinner!

After an eventful but easy drive (IYKYK!!!) we made it to Toronto!
We are staying at the Hyatt Regency and got welcomed with a « Dre Lavoie » 😆
Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown which we now know very well!
We had dinner at Abrielle’s a very nice restaurant on King Street.
We dine on oysters, a pumpkin seed trempette and halloumi!
Everything was delicious and we got offered a free glass of rosé for being such nice people!もっと詳しく

No rest for the wicked!
Charlotte is back at school since Thursday and already has some reading to do.
So we went to a cute little café we had stumbled upon on a past trip to Toronto, ordered tea and coffee and got some reading done!

Brunch at Kost!

We were so looking forward to having brunch at Kost’s this time again!
In the Summer months the terrace turns into a Veuve Clicquot Sun Club!!!

Sightseeing and getting lost!

After our delicious brunch we walked and took the Subway to go to Yorkville!
Got to see my favorite Subway station of Toronto again!!
We then started walking… in the wrong direction! BUT!!! Little did we know that we would come across a football game between the University of Toronto Varsity Blues and… our McGill Redbirds!!!!

Shopping in Yorkville!

Fashionable Yorkville is a top destination for affluent shoppers at its high-end boutiques, galleries and design studios, especially on Bloor Street's "Mink Mile." The area features chic cafes, polished bars and fine-dining restaurants. Its posh hotels host Hollywood insiders during the Toronto International Film Festival. Side streets are lined with picture-postcard Victorian homes with ornamental gardens.

Our little shopping expedition was indeed very successful!
We got to enjoy a very nice matcha under the sun and later on a Cosmo at d|bar, Daniel Boulud’s bar at the Four Seasons.

One quick stop at the very packed Eaton Center to make a couple more purchases before we walked back to the hotel to get ready for our evening out!もっと詳しく

Ed Sheeran The Loop Tour!

Before heading out for dinner before our show, Charlotte had to make sure the koi fish were well fed once more!
We enjoyed tapas and a glass of peachy Sangria at Beso by Patria.

Toward the end of our dinner the sky opened up! Huge thunderstorm and non stop rain after that. Luckily enough the hostess gifted us an umbrella.

The show was amazing! Ed Sheeran does everything himself! Wow!!! Practically 3 hours of singing… and quite of lot of talking in between! This guy likes to talk!!!!
We got to meet my dear friend Valerie’s cousin and her friend as I gifted them the extra tickets I had bought. Such nice ladies!

Back at the hotel Charlotte had a bad asthma attack. Something seems to have triggered it in the room. As there wasn’t a single other room free we got transferred to the Presidential Suite for the night! The bed was soooo comfortable!!!もっと詳しく

Puppy Yoga!!!

Well of course!!!
As soon as I found out that it was toy puddles at the Glow Studio in Toronto this weekend we just had to go!!!

Charlotte had a little friend almost the entire time!
Even after they took him away for a group photo, that little cutie came right back in her arms 🥰

This marked the end of a wonderful mother-daughter weekend!
Memories were made.
Laughter were heard.
Great food was eaten.
We could not have asked for a better time together!
