Today we went to a party for Oma's sister and brother-in-law (the uncle and aunt of my Papa). It was their fiftieth wedding anniversary. I saw my second cousins Sven and Julia. Julia gave me some nice artworks, including Harma beads in the shape of a L. We had lots of courses and ice cream at an ice cream parlor. I had Smurf flavour, Julia had dark cookie and Sven had strawberry. Sven had strawberry because he is lactose intolerant, so he had to chose one that did not have dairy in it.
At the party I finished reading the Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer, an ancient and famous Greek story teller. Mama had set me the task of reading it and I finished it today. The Iliad is about the Trojan war, and how it was started and how it ended with the trojan horse. The Odyssey is about a hero called Odysseus who was the guy that came up with the idea of the trojan horse. When the war ended he sailed back home but came across lots of problems including, a cyclops, angry gods, and sirens. The sirens are sea monsters that sing a song, which drives men crazy with longing. Both stories are around 3000 years old, which is when Homer lived in ancient Greece. That is older than the Bible. Phanpy also enjoyed it.
After we said goodbye to every one, we went home.
At home there was a big bike race that went on into the night.

    See you soon
