Leave home - the adventure begins

The day of the start of our trip had been a good one - bright and sunny although a hint of rain in the air. Getting everything ready had come together well. Work was wrapped up in reasonable time. We said farewell to our son and cats and wouldn't return to our home for pretty much 10 weeks.

Not that with COVID and the lockdowns and with splitting my time between two places a few years ago this - to me at least - probably wasn't such a big deal, but I understood the impact for sure.Meer informatie
