It's fun to enjoy the stars and the moon in the warm Caribbean breezes
TravelerThe moon phase was one of the first things I looked at, and once I knew I would be out in the middle of the Pacific with very little light pollution. We have a new moon on our first day returning back to the mainland. On top of that it rises at 5:52 am and sets with the sun. We will have some real dark nights to see the stars.
TravelerI will watch for that. I would think our November cruise would be another dark -sky cruise. It will be better on the way back, when we leave the moon will be 80% illumination and does not set until 10:32 pm. On the first night back its 28% and sets at 1:59 pm and rises next morning at 2:08 am.

We love this port. It is the reason we do this cruise. A great beach within walking distance. Good snorkeling and even a nice jungle trail to walk on
Costa Maya nope

The Costa Maya stop was canceled due to high winds. So it became a leisurely day at sea. All in all, it was a nice chill way to spend my birthday
Cozumel

Had a nice day in Cozumel, walked along the shoreline, and spent some time in a church we had never been to before. Saw the new Jubilee logo and mascot for the first time.
