    From Taipei to Hualin

    January 10 in Taiwan ⋅ 🌬 14 °C

And so the hitchhiking journey started but first we left Taipei with a train.

Hitchhiking works quite ok here and we had plenty really nice lifts.
Our first night we spent in Pinglin, finding a sleeping spot was really hard and we work around for a while. There are no hostels or hotels so we had to sleep outside.
Camping areas been too expensive and nice nice enough but no problem we found a place on a not used bridge next to the river.
It was a bit rainy in the night but we survived.

Day 2: In the morning we visited a tea Musen, it was not really good to be honest. Back on the road a truck driver picked us up and then we took the train to Nan’ao. In Nan’ao we slept in a Cave Right Next to the ocean, that was a really nice spot. We been sitting on the beach with a campfire and had many deep conversation before we went to bed.

Day 3: not much hitchhiking for us because the train was really cheap. We just went to Hualin. We got a really cheap room and planned our next adventures.
Now we go in the mountains and back to the west coast.
