To Singapore

An early start to the day to make sure we had time to freshen up and make our way to the international terminal. We got there with plenty of time to spare- looked around the shops, and shared some overpriced dumplings and shallot pancakes for brunch.

The 8.5 hour flight with SG Airlines was smooth and we landed at Changi Airport a little ahead of schedule. Going through immigration was super quick too- I think it took longer for our suitcase!
Our ‘klook’ driver was waiting for us and I enjoyed a moment of heat outside before stepping into his air conditioned vehicle.
We arrived at the Hilton on Orchard about 30min (6.45pm, with plenty to time to spend at the Executive lounge before closing at 7.30pm 😅)
We were taken to the lounge where we could enjoy some snacks and drinks (which was really our dinner), while the staff handled paperwork and room keys.
We quickly freshened up and changed before spending the rest of the evening browsing through Takashimaya (conveniently located across the road) and shops along Orchard. Road. Need to stretch the legs after a long flight!
