    Day 1: Off and running

    So today is the day we set off on our new adventure. All the planning has been completed, the bags packed and our home cleaned. This morning we flew from Belfast to London Heathrow where later tonight we pick up our overnight flight to Singapore. We've had a bit of lunch, bought the supply of chocolate and settling down to a nice cup of coffee before boarding the plane. This is the longest trip we have done as a family, four weeks in total, so really excited to get started.Read more

    Day 2: Singapore arrival

    Singapore is amazing. After a long 13hr flight from London we arrived safely into Changi airport. The flight was totally uneventful. I booked exit row seats to give us loads of space and we both slept well. The A380 is a huge plane, the flight was smooth all the way, and the onboard meals were good. After a short taxi ride we checked into the Fairmont beside the famous Raffles Hotel, and went out for dinner. Last job was to sit down and plan the rota for the next few days.Read more
