Santiago de Compostela

What an awesome day. This was the first place since Paris that we were able to sleep in one place for more than one night. We awoke to rain, but hey, it's like home. The rain cleared. Lydia helped me with my fear of heights, and then it was a shopping bonanza. Wandering about in the old city. Looking at food, drink, and gifts. It was nice not to walk more than 15 miles. Tomorrow evening, we start the trip homeward - first Madrid, then London and back to the PNW.Leggi altro
