Disney Hollywood Studios

Sunday morning we woke early again, so we decided to try and jump in the virtual queue for the new Rise of the Resistance attraction in the Hollywood Studios park. Via the Skyliner, It took a little under 30 minutes from leaving our hotel building to being inside the park, despite a hefty morning rush and queuing up for a real stickler at the bag check.

That had us arriving a few minutes after the park opened (you can join the virtual queue from opening time, as long as you are inside). That landed us in the 124th boarding group; they only guarantee to get through 64 groups in a day, so we weren't hopeful. We decided to checkout the new Galaxy's Edge (aka Blackspire Outpost) anyway.

On arriving, we were pretty bowled over by the detail in the theming - we actually spent time gawping at the bins and lamposts at the entrance. We spent a good chunk of the morning checking out the shops and food offerings, as well as the Blackspire outpost quests on the Play Disney app (which can trigger certain sound effects around the outpost).Читать далее
