Slinky dog dash

We were keen to have another go at Rise of the Resistance, but decided against facing the early start and scrum of people trying to get in at park opening that day (an essential requirement to get a chance). Instead we kicked off our Wednesday at the Disney Hollywood Studios Park with a leisurely, late-morning coffee and Pretzel on 'Hollywood boulevard' before heading to our fast pass bookings.

Although it had been attracting hours long queues throughout our stay, we hadn't expected much from the new Slinky Dog Dash coaster. At a glance it looks like a fairly run of the mill, out door steel coaster; whilst that is mostly true there are some cool details in the theming. The mechanism itself also seemed a little unusual, with the lift hills acting in a 'launch' style, rather than the conventional slow drag to the top, like a gentle version of rock'n' roller-coaster or the French Space Mountain.もっと詳しく
