Transition day

With weather forecast of 2+ inches of rain decide to jump ahead using public transportation. Take train to Udine where we attempt to find a bus to start of stage 33. No luck so take another train to Adriatic where we walk a few kilometers back to Duino. Again the skies rumble but get to chic hotel before the rain comes. Decide to tour the castle. Good plan as the storm is on top of us. Torrential rain and thunder and lightening reverberating through castle. Soggy run for a drink. Stays dry while we look out over water and get to dinner.Lue lisää
