Through the inside passage

A very early wake-up in order to get to the ferry terminal by 5:30. Ride the quiet streets and estuary path as the sky begins to brighten. Board the ferry and grab window seats. Spend the next 16 hours searching for whales (only saw spouts and a distant tail) and generally watching it all go by. Channel was amazingly narrow for much of the time.
