When in Champagne …

Quick ride down the hill to small town for coffee and breakfast. Almost immediately find ourselves in the Champagne region. Grapes are abundant and vineyards and wine cellars everywhere. Continue along undulating road until we return to the Marne. Joins the V52 cycle path which goes along the Marne. As it is quite toasty stop for a dip in the river. Finish off our ride, ending in Epernay. Check in to municipal campground and then ride the path to the store. Back for a shower and then dinner. So many cyclists!!Read more
