Onto the Ballon D’Alsace

Slowly meander out of Epinal, making a few stops to pick up needed items. The goal for today is to position ourselves on one of the climbs of the Tour de France. Pretty flat path to the town of Le Thillot where we see the first signs of TDF. Get food and continue to the base of the climb. Quite busy with cyclists all around. Start UP! Go about halfway and find a decent spot amongst campervans. Make dinner and watch the scene unfold.Read more
