Melk & Krems

Opt to ride along what appears to be the quieter right bank. Pass through nice town of Ybbs and return to a dedicated trail to Melk. River gets narrower and hills along it higher. Many castles and ruins along the tops. Stop at touristy Melk and walk amongst the boat travellers. Day is heating up and we continue along. Quieter side also has few to no resources. Lots of fruit trees though! Stop to swim and sweat the rest of the way to Melk. Try to cool down at the campground but no beach access. Walk into Krems and enjoy the town during a quiet time.Læs mere
